The challenge

A 32-storey commercial tower on a tight urban site connected to transit and Toronto’s PATH network. The team needed visibility across site logistics, tenant deliveries and trade coordination simultaneously.

The solution

Voyage Control provided real-time scheduling for deliveries and shared resources, integrating with Procore’s Daily Log to eliminate duplicate data entry.

Implementation

The team signed on in May 2020, starting with iPads for delivery check-ins and later moving to a TV monitor in the site office displaying the live calendar. One-hour delivery slots were enforced by default, so any extension required a conversation — which pushed trade partners into coordinated planning.

The results

Tenant management was streamlined despite shared resources and loading areas, elevator scheduling was optimised, and unbooked deliveries could be turned away without disrupting live PATH operations.

“Voyage Control was a game changer. Very user friendly. On your PC, your phone or your laptop.”
