Airport operations had to continue uninterrupted throughout a £600m expansion, with passenger flows and parking taking absolute priority over construction. Every subcontractor delivery had to work around live terminal activity.

Voyage Control was deployed as the operations control system across the whole site, restricting loading gate hours, directing traffic flow and monitoring delivery performance. The platform removed the need to duplicate data across multiple systems.

All subcontractor deliveries were brought onto the platform, with real-time visibility and analytics available to everyone from developers to gate clerks. Rescheduling became instantaneous as airport priorities shifted.

Admin users saved three to four hours a week, the team gained real-time visibility of every delivery, and a data repository allowed subcontractor performance and transgressions to be tracked and addressed.
