The challenge
Five buildings plus underground parking with very little room to manoeuvre, making timely trade partner access difficult. Ongoing campus activity compounded the problem of coordinating unloading times and area access.
The solution
A cross-device scheduling platform coordinating multiple gates and buildings in real time, with delivery capacity customisable so gates stay available for critical path work.
Implementation
Trade partners were onboarded through a simple registration process. Kitchell used the calendar view in weekly coordination meetings and daily huddles, updating schedules live.
The results
Five buildings and four gates ran through a single system, booking conflicts fell by restricting simultaneous deliveries at peak times, and site management dealt with trade partners directly rather than through intermediaries.
