The challenge
Two multi-family residential developments — one beside Washington Nationals Stadium, one west of Union Station — faced restricted delivery windows in tight zones with constantly shifting unloading areas. Neighbourhood traffic constraints compounded the problem.
The solution
Real-time delivery schedule visibility across phone, tablet and desktop, allowing loading areas to be updated on the fly. The platform let the team prioritise shifts and zones while capturing data on unauthorised deliveries.
Implementation
Trade partners adopted the platform quickly, and it was integrated with Procore’s daily logs on Parcel I. Staff managed schedules and check-ins directly from mobile devices across both sites.
The results
Organised schedules prevented unauthorised truck arrivals, on-time coordination improved across both projects, and one centralised platform removed the whiteboard conflicts entirely.
